[Korea Travel] 2025 Seoul Traditional Dance Festival ▶ Nodeul Island ◀

Overview

The 4th Seoul Traditional Dance Festival will take place on Nodeul Island from October 17 to 18, 2025. From royal court dances to folk performances, and from youth choreography to interactive workshops, visitors can enjoy two days of immersive cultural experiences.

Main Performances

• Oct 17 (Fri): “Walking the Path of Tradition” – Children and youth take the stage with percussion bands, fan dances, and youth choreographers’ works.
• Oct 18 (Sat): Special tribute performance honoring Han Sung-jun, pioneer of Korean modern dance, with “Seoul, 100 Years of Dance.”
• Both days feature the grand performance “Gestures of Liberation, Dances of the Square” at Nodeul Grass Plaza.

Programs & Experiences

• Hands-on Programs: Citizens can learn fan dance, mask dance, and traditional drumming.
• Side Events: “It-Da Market,” stamp tours, LED art installations, and exhibitions on intangible heritage.

概要

第四届首尔传统舞蹈文化节将于2025年10月17日至18日在芦原岛举行。宫廷舞蹈、民俗舞蹈、青年编舞作品与互动体验，为游客带来两天沉浸式文化盛宴。
